Job Title: Subcontracts AdministratorJob Description The Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for performing a full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontract administration. This role involves issuing requests for proposals, evaluating proposals, and maintaining subcontract files in accordance with established procedures. Responsibilities + Issue requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs). + Prepare subcontract documents and amendments, including the identification and inclusion of flow-down requirements from the prime contract. + Monitor open orders and expedite shortages to meet customer demand, including resourcing parts if existing suppliers are unable to support. + Monitor turnaround time of assigned subcontractors and follow up when late to meet agreed timeframes. + Develop accurate tracking records and scorecards tailored to assigned subcontractors. + Manage subcontracts from inception to completion (cradle to grave subcontract management). + Serve as liaison between subcontractor and repair station management. + Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate. + Access and use Inventory Locator Service to acquire products as needed. Essential Skills + Experience in contract and purchasing. + Proficiency in subcontract administration, contracts, proposals, and handling RFI/RFPs. + Strong data entry skills. + Working knowledge of various types of contracts, including Firm Fixed Price, Unit Rates, and Time and Materials. + Flexibility and ability to embrace change. + Self-motivated with strong initiative. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Excellent communication skills both via telephone and email. + Exceptional organizational skills. + Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and proficiently navigate a PC. + Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + A working knowledge of the various types of contracts, including Firm Fixed Price, Unit Rates, and Time and Materials. Work Environment The position is based onsite in Carson. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
