We place remote intake coordinators with healthcare organizations that deliver critical care — from mental health to specialty infusion and beyond. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing, fully remote role that demands precision, empathy, and follow-through. What You'll Do:
- Own the intake process from first contact to onboarding — via phone, email, and CRM systems.
- Handle inbound and outbound communication with potential and current patients.
- Verify insurance benefits and coordinate with billing teams to ensure smooth approvals.
- Set appointments, confirm referrals, and guide patients through their next steps.
- Keep all documentation clean, accurate, and compliant in our systems (we'll train you).
- Be the patient's advocate, guide, and lifeline throughout onboarding.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 1+ years in a healthcare intake, care coordination, call center, or admin support role.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written). You lead conversations with clarity and care.
- Tech-savvy with CRMs, EMRs, or call management software (Salesforce, Athena, Kareo, etc.).
- You can manage your time independently and hit deadlines without hand-holding.
- High-speed internet, a quiet workspace, and the discipline to work from home like a pro.
Bonus (but not required):
- Previous behavioral health, infusion, or specialty medicine experience.
- Insurance pre-auth or verification experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, full-time or part time
- Hours depend on clinic time zone — flexibility is key.
