What You’ll Do
✅ Operate plant equipment and systems to produce and load quality product, including DCS and manual systems.
✅ Load liquid fertilizer into tanker trucks and perform outside operations including manual valves.
✅ Monitor utility equipment such as boilers, cooling towers and air systems.
✅ Inspect vessels and equipment, read and record instrumentation, and take product samples.
✅ Follow and enforce safety procedures, including hazardous waste handling, emergency response and plant safety programs.
✅ Support maintenance and turnaround activities, and understand confined space entry.
✅ Keep the plant and surrounding area clean, safe and organized.
✅ Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors and contractors.
What You’ll Bring
✔ High school diploma or GED.
✔ At least one year of experience in a chemical, industrial or similar plant setting.
✔ Mechanical and technical aptitude, with strong attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work a 12-hour swing shift (days, nights, weekends, holidays) on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
✔ Commitment to safety and reliability in all weather conditions.
✔ Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and work outdoors for extended periods.
✔ Computer and basic math skills; ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Nice to Have
➕ Good computer literacy for loading and inventory documentation.
➕ Understanding of D.O.T. shipping and safety regulations.
➕ Desire to advance within operations and take on increasing responsibilities.
