Since 1983, Johns Hopkins Care at Home has provided safe, high-quality and cost-effective care in the home and community. Our team links care across multiple sites for patients, families and colleagues in an effort to restore, maintain and promote health and reduce the effects of disease and disability. As part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, we have access to the most innovative treatments and latest research, and we emphasize education and training among our team members. We also collaborate with doctors, nurses and specialists throughout Johns Hopkins Medicine to ensure continuity of your care.
This pharmacist position supports all Johns Hopkins Outpatient Pharmacies, including the Main East Baltimore campus, Bayview Medical Center, and GreenSpring Station, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care across locations.
Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, compounding and dispensing medications, and providing drug information to patients and healthcare providers. The pharmacist also completes other duties as assigned and operates with moderate supervision, exercising independent judgment as needed.
This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations. In the Assistant Director absence, the pharmacist reports to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager or pharmacist in charge and may assume the pharmacist in charge role when necessary. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as this role requires working across multiple sites to support pharmacy operations and patient care.
