The Payroll Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations in relation to payroll and insurance programs. This role involves meticulous record-keeping, document preparation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve compliance issues efficiently and professionally. The salary for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience. What You Will Be DoingProcesses weekly and monthly Certified Payroll and Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) reports, maintaining accurate records of all related documents.Leads the preparation of specialized compliance documents related to payroll, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards.Manages and responds promptly to customer and department emails related to payroll compliance, providing clear and accurate information.Proofreads documents, contracts, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, ensuring all materials are error-free and adhere to regulatory requirements.Provides support on payroll projects, contributing to the successful implementation and management of payroll initiatives. What We Are Looking ForEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be combined with education to meet the requirements. 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance, with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws. Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer service orientation.
