We are looking for a Parts Counter Person to play a key role in our dealership's operations. As a Parts Counter Person, you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians with their parts needs. You will help them find the right parts, answer their questions, and ensure they have a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing excellent customer service.
Identify and locate the correct automotive parts for customers or technicians.
Maintain accurate inventory records and keep the parts department organized.
Process parts orders, track orders, and provide order status updates to customers.
Work closely with the service department to fulfill their parts requirements.
Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims efficiently.
Provide product knowledge and information to customers when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in automotive parts or dealership environment is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is a strong advantage.
