Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a **Part-Time** **Software Application Tester** in **San Luis Obispo** , **CA.** This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic team of technical professionals. This role is ideal for a technically savvy Higher Education student seeking a part-time job with a flexible schedule. As a Part-Time Software Application Tester you will perform independent verification & validation of requirements by creating, running, and evaluating manual and automated tests. You will document defects and confirm their resolution. **Position Responsibilities:** + Supports the development of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the creation and execution of manual & automated test cases to verify software performance and function + Identifies and documents defects + Collects, inputs, and analyzes data for software metrics of limited scope and complexity using established procedures + Uses software tools to troubleshoot problems + Performs other duties as assigned **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Software troubleshooting experience **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Enrolled in or completed Higher Education + STEM background, technical writing + Software programming/scripting experience **Drug Free Workplace:** We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Pay & Benefits:** We strive to deliver a total rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
