The Certified Holter Monitor scanner works closely with the team of clinic staff including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of cardiac ambulatory diagnostic testing. The Certified Holter Scanner primary duties include comprehensive and accurate wave analysis, including the satellite locations. Provide summary of all findings to include diary symptom associations. Entering report values onto the resulting template, processing reports using the Clinic-Based Heart Monitor Workflow. Submitting charges for billing purposes. Notifying MD with urgent rhythms. Importing monitor studies electronically into EMR, creating related documentations.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of basic EKG/ECG interpretation class
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Within 90 days of hire: National Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college
Completion of Medical Assistant program or 1 year experience as cardiac monitor or EKG/ECG technician
Experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems
