Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking a Trainer to lead new employees towards successful integration into their enterprise job functions. This position is an in office role. Position Responsibilities:
· Utilizes facilitation techniques and training methodologies to ensure effective learning transfer for primarily bank retail job functions, including new employee orientation, systems, products, processes, procedures, and needs-based selling training courses and programs.
· Schedules new employees for role specific training sessions and communicates with managers to ensure quality training experiences.
· Assesses and provides feedback on training effectiveness, manages pre-session, follow-up tasks, and keeps attendance records up to date.
· Builds and maintains effective working relationships with managers and other internal stakeholders through consistent communication and responsiveness.
· Conducts virtual and face-to-face training sessions and adapts business relevance for various roles to ensure comprehensive learning experiences.
· Accommodates training sessions during business hours across Pacific, Mountain, and Central time zones, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to meeting training needs.
· Communicates with participants and managers, delivers calendar invites with links to the virtual meeting platform. Ensures all necessary resources, equipment and software are available and set up.
· Seeks feedback and engages in personal development to become a more effective trainer and facilitator.
· Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
· Requires a high school degree and 2+ years of experience in training methods and practices, writing, communications development or other directly related experience.
· Some college and experience in course development preferred.
· Employee training and facilitation background preferred.
· Solid knowledge and/or hands on experience with bank teller and new accounts procedures
· A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. Working knowledge of training techniques, practices and methodology.
· Knowledge of organizational learning, training programs, employee training, and facilitation.
· Strong branch banking experience in operations, products, and services.
· Strong customer service, problem solving, analysis and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Must have good understanding of technology, time management and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to conduct and facilitate training courses.
· Willingness to travel as needed

· This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $24.16 to $35.43 depending on experience
