Compliance Specialist
Location: Remote (Florida residents only)
Pay Rate: $27/hour

Position Overview:
A leading healthcare services organization is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of its Compliance Department. This role is fully remote (Florida-based) and plays a critical part in upholding internal standards, regulatory compliance, and client contract obligations across the organization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and well-versed in healthcare regulations, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Candidates with CHC or similar certifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support audits, internal controls, training, and document control
· Monitor and report on safety reporting/Pharmacovigilance processes
· Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, CCPA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Medicare/Medicaid billing)
· Track vendor risk, business continuity, nonconformances, CAPAs, and trend reporting
· Investigate and resolve compliance and privacy-related concerns
· Maintain accurate records in Compliance & Privacy logs
· Conduct internal reviews and audits to ensure adherence to contractual, legal, and policy requirements
· Stay current with industry regulations and changes affecting the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors
· Perform HIPAA breach risk assessments
Qualifications:
· CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) or related certification preferred
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio); Jira Service Desk experience a plus
· Bachelor's degree OR 1–2 years of relevant experience in compliance or healthcare regulation
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive matters
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
· Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills
· Detail-oriented and able to work independently under pressure
