Job Description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and teens? Do you thrive in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment? If so, we're looking for a dedicated Remote Behavioral Health Coach to join our dynamic team and help us revolutionize mental healthcare for young people and their families.

About Us:

We are a pioneering organization committed to providing accessible and effective mental health support to kids and teens. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we're leveraging innovative technology and evidence-based practices to break down barriers to care. Our mission is to create a world where mental wellness is within reach for every young person.

We foster a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. You'll be part of a team that is passionate about creating a positive impact and bending the healthcare system to work better for everyone.

The Impact You'll Make:

In this fully remote role, you'll play a vital part in our collaborative care model, which focuses on empowering families to navigate the challenges of everyday life. You'll work directly with children, teens, and their families, providing essential support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Empower and Motivate: Utilize evidence-based coaching techniques to motivate, guide, and support our members in achieving their personal and therapeutic goals.
Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner closely with psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and behavioral case managers to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
Deliver Telehealth Excellence: Conduct engaging and effective coaching sessions via secure video conferencing, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for clients.
Provide Comprehensive Behavioral Assessments: Assist in the completion of thorough behavioral assessments to inform personalized care plans.
Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Deliver evidence-based coaching interventions, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic methods within our established model and curriculum.
Maintain Timely Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical notes, maintaining high standards of documentation.
Enjoy Flexible Remote Work: Work from the comfort of your own home anywhere in the U.S., provided you have a private and secure space for conducting sessions.
Help kids and teens manage emotions, challenge negative thinking, and reduce stress and anxiety.
What You Bring to the Table:

Coaching Expertise: ICF Coaching Certification or NBC-HWC (unlicensed) required.
Mental Health Acumen: Strong preference for candidates with a background in mental health.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable and proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and technology.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to manage your time effectively in a dynamic environment.
Engaging Communication: A warm, empathetic, and engaging coaching style.
Passion for Youth: A genuine passion for helping children and teens achieve their full potential.
Core Competencies:

Coaching Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based coaching interventions and techniques.
Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and the team.
Empathetic Approach: Ability to connect with and support children and adolescents facing behavioral health challenges, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences.
Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Adaptable Nature: Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each client and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
Professional Integrity: Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical behavior in all interactions.
Join our mission to bend the healthcare system for the better, and to provide life changing care for kids and teens!
